 Shiloh continues to support poor families in Pakistan as one of our mission projects. Working closely with a Christian family connection, we endeavour to deliver food and other supplies to those in need.  2020Introduction of Same-Sex Marriages in Northern Ireland
  Legislation was introduced in Northern Ireland (January 2020) allowing for civil same sex marriage ceremonies to be conducted in Northern Ireland.
Further to this, other legislative changes are being introduced from September 2020 to allow for religious same sex marriages also to be carried out in Northern Ireland.
The legislation requires that churches must designate if they wish to conduct same sex marriages or to remain registered only for opposite sex marriage.

  Statement by Shiloh Overseeing Committee
Shiloh’s Overseeing Committee met on Wednesday 24th June to frame a pathway plan to reintroduce attended Sunday morning services at Shiloh.
Although government has agreed places of worship can reopen from 29th June, there has been no further guidelines to date. As a precaution the Committee has decided the following course of action.

 2020Lockdown in Pakistan may be ended but there’s still hungry people.
 A number of members of Shiloh Christian Fellowship have been supporting poor families in Boter, Farooqabad, Pakistan who normally struggle to make ends meet, but with the COVID- 19 impact, life has been more difficult than usual. Through our local Christian contacts, we provided funding to purchase food parcels for some needy families, which were distributed earlier today. Our contacts delivered the food, including sweets for the children, and all the recipients were very grateful for the kindn...

 2020Shiloh Food Parcels
  'It is better to give than to receive'
In our currrent climate it is good to remember to look out for others who may be in need, or to simply show people that others are thinking of them at this time.
A number of people from Shiloh felt they would like to prepare simple food parcels to distribute to individuals' within the local community.
With the support from Caroline at Tesco's (Bloomfields), enough goods were purchased to produce 50 parcels for delivery.

 2020Shiloh Welcomes ‘Ladybirds Childcare’ Group
  Shiloh Christian Fellowship are delighted to announce a new partnership with Ladybirds Childcare which is part of Kilcooley Women’s Centre, to bring a new Playgroup to Lisnabreen.
For many years, Shiloh has been keen to expand its services to the community, and this service to support children aged from 6 weeks to 4 years, and provides positive parenting programmes (including Incredible Years),  is the first of what we hope is many new ways to engage with local people.

Last night Shiloh was packed to capacity with people who had come along to celebrate Shiloh gong into our 20th year.
Tommy Rowntree and Thomas McKeown had been invited to minister in song, and what a blessing that was! One man said, "When the two guys sang I felt like electricty was going through my entire body." Others spoke of the anointing the two singers had and how God used their ministry to touch people's lives.
Mark Tatty Gordon preached on Psalm 133 about 'How goo... What a Celebration!!

 2019New Deacons Appointed At Shiloh
  At yesterday morning's service in Shiloh three new deacons were officially installed.
During the communion service the three deacons, chosen after prayerful consideration and a secret vote, were presented to the Fellowship, anointed with oil and prayed for.
Shiloh has never had deacons before and this was a new thing being done.
The three nominated persons are:
Billy Morrison: Married to Wilma they have one son and two grandsons. Billy first gave his life to the Lord as a child but as he gre... At yesterday morning's service in Shiloh three new deacons were officially installed.

  Mark Tatty Gordon was invited to conduct a number of Remembrance Services this year, including a Dedication / Memorial in the Shankill Memorial Garden (Sat 9th), in West Winds (Sun 10th) at Shiloh that evening and again on Armistice Day in Kilcooley.
Each service began with the same reading from Ecclesiastes 3v1-8 and all services focussed on these words.
Below is the message spoken at Shiloh.
"I’ve been privileged to have been asked to conduct a number of Remembrance Services this year...   Yesterday at Shiloh another ‘Thanksgiving Blessing’ took place to celebrate God’s good gift of little Jake McCullough to his parents Sophie and John. 
The short service was conducted by Mark Tatty Gordon who spoke about God’s goodness enabling some who fear Him and walk in His ways, to see their children’s children.
