Thanksgiving for Ronan Carson Boyd

Today’s ‘Thanksgiving’ made Tatty realise he'sgetting a bit older, as he knew 4 generations of the families gathered for the celebration, & had conducted Thanksgiving services for some of them.

Little Ronan is the son of Codi & McAuley who had invited family & friends to this special occasion. Tatty spoke from Genesis 5 on ‘Enoch’ who walked with God after the birth of his son, & he said perhaps it was his son’s birth that helped Enoch to see the handiwork of God in the good gifts of children He blesses people with.

Tatty then put it to all who had gathered to give thanks to God for Ronan, that perhaps through this little child God was seeking to make Himself known.
He told of how God gave His only Son Jesus to die for us so that we might know Him & be saved. If God loves us so much to ask His Son to die for us, can we not also thank Him for such love toward us while we thank Him for McAuley & Codi’s son Ronan? It was a wonderful celebration of thanksgiving, celebrated by all who attended
